Hooray! One of my favourite books of the year. I’d love to see this as a Canada Reads selection.

Erin: totally agreed with your comment on Grant’s confidence as a writer. It’s funny because in person she seemed rather shy and worried about what people though of her writing, but it certainly doesn’t come across in Come, Thou Tortoise! Confidence is the exact right word.

I still have to get her short stories, which I read are excellent as well.
