It’s Day 23 of our month-long video-fest to Keep Toronto Reading. Today I have a pleasure of presenting a Toronto Lit Scene regular and talented illustrator, Evan Munday. Evan had some technical difficulties making his video, but rather than giving up, he decided to think outside the box and take a different approach. He even managed to secure appearances by Tom Cruise, Justin Bieber, Bon Jovi, and Bruce Springsteen (who makes his second appearance in this project. Who knew the Boss cared so much about Toronto’s reading habits?). So get ready for Venn diagrams, celeb appearances, and English degree validation, as Evan pitches us R. Sikoryak’s Masterpiece Comics:
Evan Munday is the publicist of Coach House Books. He is also a sometime illustrator, and illustrated the novel Stripmalling, written by Jon Paul Fiorentino and published by ECW Press, and the self-published comic book, Quarter-Life Crisis. He does not know how to use a digital video camera.

An inspiring performance, n’est-ce pas? Friends, there is only one week left! If you still want to make a video, please let me know!

Bravo, Evan! You are hilarious, and made me want to read this book! It’s definitely on my list, and I hope it makes my English degree worth it too.
